Pricing questions
- How much does CodeVox cost?
- One plan: $7.77 per month. No tiers, no feature gates, no usage caps. Every feature is included, and you can cancel anytime from your account — you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes. Every account gets a 14-day full-access free trial, no payment details needed. When it ends, CodeVox drops to the free tier until you subscribe — nothing is charged automatically.
- Is my voice sent to the cloud?
- Never. All speech recognition runs locally on your Mac; audio and transcripts stay on your machine. The app contacts our servers only for sign-in, a periodic license check, and update checks — never with your audio. Point a network monitor at it and watch.
- What happens if I cancel?
- You keep full access until the end of your current billing period, then CodeVox drops to the free tier. Your settings and downloaded models stay on your Mac, so resubscribing picks up right where you left off.
- How many Macs can I use it on?
- A single subscription activates CodeVox on up to three (3) Macs you personally own or control. If you sell or retire a Mac, sign out of CodeVox on it first to free the activation.
- Which platforms are supported?
- CodeVox is available for macOS today. Windows and Linux are on the roadmap. Register your interest to be notified when they ship.
